Tre Viet Tourism Village (Làng du lịch tre Việt) is only 15km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City (Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh). It is an ecotourism, amusement park, and relaxation resort which is quite attractive to tourists, both domestic and foreign. As the name implies, most of the items here are mostly made by bamboo.

About 15 km from Ho Chi Minh City center, Tre Viet Tourism Village is one of the most attractive eco-tourism sites in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Its specific address is 25/9 Phuoc Luong hamlet (Ấp Phước Lương), Phu Huu commune (Xã Phú Hữu), Nhon Trach district (Huyện Nhơn Trạch), Dong Nai province (Tỉnh Đồng Nai).

With a total area of up to 45,000m2, surrounded by water and coconut trees stretching across the shore, the Tre Viet Tourism Village has the highlights of South region of Vietnam.

The highlight of this tourist village is bamboo used as the main material. With a cool space and favorable geographical position, the Tre Viet Tourism Village has become an interesting weekend destination for visitors.

Ho Chi Minh City is nestled in the South East of Vietnam and adjacent to the Mekong Delta, so the climate here is divided into two distinct seasons: dry and rainy season. The rainy season usually lasts from May to November and the dry season lasts from December to April.

In the dry season, the sky is clear, clouds are white, and the wind is light, so if you want to travel to Tre Viet Tourism Village to have fun, experience exciting games and have sunlit moments, you should go in the dry season.

However, in this season, the temperature is quite high, so before you go, you should prepare sunscreen, hat, and umbrella to avoid sunburn. It is best not to take part in outdoor activities from 11 am to 2 pm.

Especially, if you come here on Saturday or Sunday, you will have the opportunity to enjoy buffet dishes, namely as octopus, shrimps, grilled goby, shrimp salad, spring rolls, and baked potato cake.

If you get here on weekdays, you can enjoy dishes like rice, hot pot, and fried foods. They are all very nice and delicious.

V. How To Get To Tre Viet Tourism Village?

To travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Tre Viet Tourism Village, you can follow these guidelines:

Depart from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, you go through Thu Thiem tunnel (Hầm Thủ Thiêm) to get to Mai Chi Tho Street (Đường Mai Chí Thọ). After that, go straight to Dong Van Cong Street (Đường Đồng Văn Cống) and turn left to go to Nguyen Thi Dinh Street (Đường Nguyễn Thị Định). Then, go to the end of this street to arrive at Cat Lai ferry (phà Cát Lái).

After crossing the ferry, go about 1km further, you will see a sign telling you how to get to the Tre Viet Tourism Village on the right-hand side. Just follow the guidelines on the sign; you will quickly reach the village. The distance from the city center to this site is about 15km.

VI. Ticket Price & Opening Hours In Tre Viet Tourism Village
  • Ticket price: 50.000VND / ticket.
  • Opening hours: all the days of the week (Monday to Friday and after 1 pm on Saturdays and Sundays).

Especially on Saturday and Sunday, there are some following combos:

  • Combo 330.000VND / person includes entrance ticket, swimming pool ticket, and lunch buffet.
  • Combo 369.000VND / person includes entrance ticket, lunch buffet,water biking, row coracle, and row kayak.
  • Combo 599.000VND / 2 persons includes entrance ticket, lunch buffet and swimming pool ticket.

Ticket prices may vary and are updated from time to time, so you should contact the management directly for more details.
