Many people love to enjoy the dish on cold days. This dish is a perfect mixture of fresh clam worms, eggs, pork meat and essential oils taken from the tangerine peels.

This stall is located right at the entrance of O Quan Chuong, and it is one of the most famous clam worm pie stalls of Hanoi. Hung Thinh restaurant is very experienced in selecting and supplying products from many regions such as Hai Hau, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Thai Binh, and Nam Dinh.

The clam worm pie here is processed from spring onions, dill and especially tangerine peel, so the pie is aromatic and sweet. However, with the 15,000 VND, the pie just has a little clam worm. Therefore, if you want to feel the full flavor of this dish, you should choose the pie with more clam worms. Although the price is higher, about 30,000VND, but the feeling of eating clam worms will be greater. .

Apart from clam worm pie, this shop also sells spring rolls with clam worm eaten with rice noodles, raw vegetables and sweet and sour sauce. People who eat salty can feel the sauce slightly pale. All materials are handmade without using blender. Dipping sauce is also a combination of fish sauce, lemon and chili. But nowadays, due to the requirement of customers, the shop mainly serves light fish sauce so that customers can eat with raw vegetables, and noodles.

Many diners said that they have become loyal guests of “Cha Ruoi Hung Thinh” for many years. Eventually, some guests send this dish to the South or to foreign countries so that people who are away from the country can enjoy this traditional dish.

This shop has been opened for 30 years and is easily recognizable when its golden clam worm pies placed neatly on the tray at the door. Vietnamese clam worm pie here is considered to be very delicious. Dipping with fish sauce, coriander and other herbs makes this dish more attractive. The shop is very crowded with guests, so in some cases, you will have to wait or sit a little cramped.

Previously, this shop only sold for consumers to bring back because it has no seats. But now, this shop has seats and also sells more dishes. The clam worm pie here is slightly different and more flavorful than that of other places. In addition, the taste of the seller’s own spicy taste also contributes to the flavor of the clam worm pie here. If you bring it back, you have to re-heat it so that it tastes good. This restaurant is very crowded, so if you come at noon, you may have to wait. However, sometimes, some guests complain that the clam worm pie has a lot of powder.

Not many people know the small clam worm pie shop located in the Hoe Nhai slope. This shop only sells this dish seasonally, not year-round like other places. During the seasons, the owner of the restaurant will buy fresh, not frozen clam worms from the villages in Hai Duong, Hai Phong, and Nam Dinh. The restaurant just has a few tables, plastic chairs, with a stove just below a tree in the Hoe Nhai slope.

The Vietnamese clam worm pie here is made from clam worms, spring onions, dill, tangerine peel, meat, and eggs. The owner of the restaurant shared that tangerine peel is an indispensable ingredient that contributes to the special flavor of the pie.

The most important thing is to wash clam worms with hot water, and pick up all the garbage. Then, wash the calm worms several times to clean the mud. Clam worms are mixed with finely chopped meats, beaten egg, chopped dill and mixed spices. And, adding little tangerine peel is very important for making the perfect clam worm pie.
